This firm, which has raised $30 million in two rounds of funding, is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to close deals with F1000 companies.

Role

  • Individual contributor working from your home office.
  • $130k to $135k base, $275k OTE. Equity and 401(k) provided.
  • Quota is only $1.3 million – Average Deal Size is $300k+!
  • Land-and-expand is a huge part of the role. You’ll receive 20 active accounts, plus a named list of prospects.

Official Job Description

Responsible for securing and growing enterprise level accounts from the F2000 within a designated geographic and/or named account territory. The candidate must be able to quickly understand goals, objectives, needs, issues and strategies of both key marketing and event professional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for securing and growing enterprise level accounts from the F2000 within a designated geographic and/or named account territory.
  • The candidate must be able to quickly understand goals, objectives, needs, issues and strategies of both key marketing and event professional stakeholders.
  • Responsibilities include promptly following up on inbound leads, pro-actively generating outbound opportunities, professionally representing our event management solution; meeting assigned quarterly selling objectives and partnering effectively with our alliance partners.

Position Responsibilities include:

  • Grow our enterprise customer base in the region, primarily through new customer acquisition;
  • Generate new business opportunities in order to achieve revenue quota on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of at least 3x revenue target
  • Maintain an accurate forecast by using SFDC
  • Build strategic working relationships with Corporate Marketers and Event Producers, maintaining a high level of face-to-face contact.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to new and existing companies
  • Negotiate and close deals following the company’s practices and processes. Ensure orders meet all legal and financial requirements, and manage receivables.
  • Monitor competitors and maintain client database. Maintain a high level of relevant industry knowledge
  • Manage and attain budget objectives
  • Travel up to 50% on a regular basis

Background and Experience:

Minimum 7 years’ experience in technology sales with preference selling marketing software

Skills, Knowledge and Competencies:

  • Proven success in enterprise field sales.
  • Solid understanding of marketing – marketing roles, marketing technologies
  • Entrepreneurial – drive and manage your business. Independent but connected to the team.
  • Understanding of the event management industry is a plus.
